Terms and Conditions

Who is running the promotion?

The promoter is Edgewell Personal Care Pty Ltd (ABN 32 601 894 795) of Suite 1, Lvl 1, Bldg B, 11 Talavera Road, Macquarie Park NSW 2113, (02) 9911 5433 (“Promoter”).

When will the promotion start and end?

The promotion starts at 12:01am (AEST) 01/05/2024 and ends at 11:59pm (AEST) on 29/09/2024 (the Promotion Period).

Who can enter?

Entry is only open to Australian residents who are aged 18 years or over, excluding: (a) management, employees, directors and contractors of the Promoter, its related bodies corporate, and any other agencies, firms or companies associated with the promotion (including suppliers of prizes);


(b) a spouse, de-facto spouse, parent, guardian, child or sibling of a person referred to in paragraph (a) above;
(c) persons who have won a prize or prizes valued either individually or collectively at more than $5,000 (including GST) in any competition or promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter, within the 12 months prior to the commencement of the Promotion Period;
(d) persons who have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to qualify to win a competition or promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter (except in the case of a legal change of name); and
(e) persons who have breached the terms and conditions of any competition or promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter.

The persons referred to in paragraph (b) above include natural and non-natural relations (in the opinion of the Promoter) and the Promoter is responsible for determining whether a person is an eligible entrant in its absolute discretion.

Where will the promotion run?

The promotion will be run online.

Do I need to buy anything to enter?

No.

Entry instructions

To enter the Promotion, the entrant must complete the following steps during the Promotional :

  •  Subscribe to the Bulldog Skincare AU online newsletter and remain subscribed for the duration of the Promotional Period.

Major Prize Draw

There will be three (3) Major Prize Winners determined in respect of this promotion.

Major Prize Winners will be drawn at 10am (AEST) on 30/09/2024 from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period by a computerised random selection.  Major Prize Winners will be notified via email.

The first three (3) valid entries drawn randomly from all entries received during the Promotion Period will win the applicable Major Prize below.

The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order, in case a winning entry/entrant is deemed invalid, or a Major Prize is unclaimed (Reserve Entrants).

 

The Major Prizes available to win are as follows:

1st Prize:  A gaming console of winner's choice (maximum value of $1000 AUD)

2nd Prize:  A fitness tracking watch of winner’s choice (maximum value of $750 AUD)

3rd Prize:  Noise cancelling headphones of winner’s choice (maximum the value of $500 AUD)

All Major Prizes will be provided by an Australian retailer.  The maximum value of the Major Prize is as stated above.  If a winner chooses a prize with a value equal to or below the maximum limit, any remaining value (the difference between the maximum value and the chosen prize value) cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred, or substituted for any other benefit.

Monthly Prize Draw

In addition to the three (3) Major Prizes, five (5) Monthly Prizes will be awarded during the Promotion Period.  Monthly Prize Winners will be selected from all eligible entries received each month (from May 2024 through September 2024) on the second business day of the following month by a computerized random selection.  Monthly Prize Winners will be notified by email.

Monthly Prizes

The Monthly Prizes available to win are as follows:
Seven (7) Bulldog Skincare prize packs. Each includes: Bulldog Original Bamboo Razor, Original Shave Gel, Original Shower Gel, Original Face Moisturiser & Original Face Wash. (Each is Valued at $76 AUD).

Total prize pool

The total maximum prize pool is valued at up to RRP: AUD $2,630.

How many times can I enter?

Maximum one entry per person during the Promotion Period.

By completing the entry method, the entrant will receive one (1) entry.

How and when will the winner be informed?

If you are a Monthly Prize Winner you will be informed on the second business day of the month following entry and notified via email.

Major Prize Winners will be informed by email within two (2) business days of the draw and your name and state/territory of residence will be published at au.bulldogskincare.com (the “Website”) on 30/09/2024 for a period of 28 days.

Must I keep anything to verify my entry?

No.

If I win, when must I claim my prize?

You must claim your prize by 5pm (AEST) on 30/10/2024 by:

Monthly Prize Winner will need to reply to email confirming name, address and contact details for prize pack to be sent; Major Prize Winner replies to a notification email to coordinate with Edgewell staff member for the selected prize to be sent to them.

What if I don't claim my prize on time?

If a prize has not been accepted or claimed by 5pm (AEST) on 30/10/2024 or if, after making all reasonable attempts, the Promoter can't contact the drawn winner (or the drawn winner does not contact the Promoter) by this time and date, the relevant entry will be discarded and the Promoter will re-award the prize to Reserve Entrant/s and/or carry out an unclaimed prize draw at 10am (AEST) on 04/11/2024 by the same method as the original draw to distribute the prize.

Any such winner will be informed by email within two (2) business days of determination and their name and state/territory of residence will be published on the Website on 04/11/2024 for a period of 28 days. Any such winner will then have 10 days to claim their prize by reply to notification email.

If there are no prize winner/s or winner/s for this Promotion cannot be found, this information will be published on the Website.

 1. These Terms and Conditions incorporate and must be read together with the details outlined in the table above. Information about prizes and how to enter forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering, you accept these Terms and Conditions.

Entry

2. Your entry must be received during the Promotion Period. Your entry is deemed to be received only when received by the Promoter’s database. You will receive a return online message confirming your entry. The Promoter is not liable for any problems with communications networks. You are responsible for your own costs associated with entering. If you enter using automatically generated entries or multiple aliases you may be disqualified.

Prizes

a) If, once a Prize is awarded, for any reason any of the Winners does not take/redeem the Prize (or an element of the Prize) then the Prize (or that element of the Prize) will be forfeited. The Prizes must be taken as described and no compensation will be payable if the Winner is unable to use the Prize as described herein.
b) If any Prize is unavailable, the Promoter in its absolute discretion, may substitute the Prize (or a component of the Prize) with a prize of equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. Other than this, the Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable, and cannot be taken as cash.

General

4. The winners will participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable marketing and editorial activities relating to the Promotion, including (but not limited to) being recorded, photographed, filmed or interviewed and acknowledges that the Promoter may use any such marketing and editorial material without further reference or compensation to them. For the purposes of public statements and advertisements, the Promoter may only publish the winner’s surname, initial and State/Territory or postcode of residence
5. You must, if required by the Promoter, sign disclaimer and release forms provided by the Promoter in favour of the Promoter and other parties before receiving the prize. If you do not sign, your entry will be deemed invalid and you will lose any entitlement to a prize.
6. Where entry is allowed by purchase or subscription, the cost of the product or service is no greater than the cost would be without the opportunity to participate in the Promotion.
7. No entry fee is charged by the Promoter to enter the Promotion. Where entry is allowed online, there is no additional cost to enter the Promotion other than any cost paid by the entrant to access the website or social media platform of entry via their Internet service provider.
8. Each prize will be awarded to the person named in the entry and any entry that is made on behalf of an entrant or by a third party will be invalid. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant or winner, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant or winner.
9. If you or your entry are deemed by the Promoter to breach these Terms and Conditions, your entry may be discarded. The Promoter may, at any time, require you to produce documentation to establish to the Promoter's satisfaction the validity of your entries (including documentation establishing your identity, age, place of residence and place of employment). In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof as required by the Promoter to validate their entry, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not waive those rights.
10. You must not:
(a) tamper with the entry process;
(b) engage in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion;
(c) act in a disruptive, annoying, threatening, abusive or harassing manner;
(d) do anything that may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or of the agencies or companies associated with this promotion;
(e) breach any law; or
(f) behave in a way that is otherwise inappropriate.
11. The Promoter is not liable for entries, prize claims or correspondence that are misplaced, misdirected, delayed, lost, incomplete, illegible or incorrectly submitted.
12. Entries containing offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third party rights, including intellectual property rights, are not eligible to win.
13. The Promoter’s decision in connection with all aspects of this promotion is final.
14. Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged nor redeemed for cash. The prize values are correct as at the date of preparing these Terms and Conditions, are in Australian Dollars and include any applicable GST. The Promoter is not responsible for any change in prize value. You agree that if a prize (or element of a prize) is unavailable for any reason the Promoter may provide another item of equal or higher value, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.
15. If this promotion cannot run as planned for any reason beyond the Promoter's control, for example due to software, hardware or communications issues, unauthorised intervention, tampering, fraud or technical failure, the Promoter may end, change, suspend or cancel the promotion or disqualify affected entries/entrants, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.
16. The Promoter is not responsible for any tax implications arising from you winning a prize. You should seek independent financial advice. If for GST purposes this promotion results in any supply being made for non-monetary consideration, you must follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.

Liability

17. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions restricts, excludes or modifies any consumer rights under any statute including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
18. Subject to the previous paragraph, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this promotion are not liable (including in negligence) for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury, illness or death suffered in connection with this promotion or any prize, except for any liability which under statute cannot be excluded (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law).
19. Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this promotion are not liable for any loss of, damage to or delay in delivery of the prize. Prizes will only be delivered to addresses in Australia.
The Promoter may communicate or advertise this promotion using Facebook or Instagram. However, the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram. You provide your information to the Promoter and not to Facebook or Instagram. You completely release Facebook and Instagram from any and all liability.

Collection and use of your personal information

20.. The Promoter collects personal information (PI) in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at https://au.bulldogskincare.com/pages/privacy-policy-2. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how you may opt out, access, update or correct your PI, how you may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. Entrants details will be collected by Edgewell Personal Care PTY LTD, for the purposes of collating the entries for the draw, however, the Promoter will not disclose your personal information to any other entity outside of Australia.
